Back to the Blogosphere

I’ve suffered for several years under the yoke of a terrible, guilty secret. I’m a terrible blogger. I read blogs. I have several, in various states of upkeep, and I’ve used them very successfully in the classroom. Personal blogs, however, I’ve never liked. There’s been this niggling feeling that blogging about myself would be self-indulgent, pretentious even. Let’s be clear: I don’t feel that way about other people’s personal blogs. It’s just that doing it myself has always made me cringe a wee bit. Now, however, (drumroll, please) I have reason to blog! Being at the cutting edge (no exaggeration) of arguably the most exciting and important development in Scottish Education, I’m going to have loads of blog-fodder. Thus far, I’m finding my feet as a new development officer within the Glow team at LTS, but as soon as I’ve had a bit more time at the coal face, I should have plenty to write about……and if it’s inadvertently self indulgent I apologise :-)
